Renato Cohen

Renato Cohen is a techno and house producer and DJ, born in São Paulo in 1974 and producing professionally since 1996. He is best known for Pontapé, released in 2001, and for his live PA shows. His collaboration with Deluxe, Just Kick, was remixed by Carl Cox in 2004, and Sixteen Billion Drum Kicks followed in 2009 along with two volumes of remixes. Later records came out on Tronic, including the Future Of House EP, and on Gop Tun, Suara, Sincopat, Future Disco, Pets Recordings and Skylax. He has remixed Technasia, recorded Two Bass with DJ Mau Mau, and also worked under the names Level 202 and Mongochips. He played Dekmantel Festival São Paulo in 2017.
