Rey Colino

Rey Colino is Colin Volvert, an Amsterdam-based Belgian DJ who runs the Kalahari Oyster Cult label and the vinyl distributor One Eye Witness. The label is prolific, bringing acid, prog, electro, techno and IDM from producers as far apart as London and Naarm. His record work feeds straight into his DJing: his sets range from dancefloor cuts to horizontal abstraction, with no fixed genre and a steady hunt for unusual artists and heavy records. He has played regularly for Amsterdam institutions Dekmantel and De School, and his closing set at Organik Festival is well remembered. He appeared at Lentekabinet Festival in 2022 and 2023, at Dekmantel Selectors 2023 and on Dekmantel Radio.
