Robin Stewart

Robin Stewart is a Bristol DJ and producer best known as one half of Giant Swan with Harry Wright, a duo that grew out of the guitar band The Naturals and turned drum machines, guitar pedals and heavy distortion into improvised, punk-charged techno with releases on Timedance, Mannequin and Whities. His solo work is broader. As RS Tangent he released the album When A Worm Wears A Wig, which he calls three-legged techno; under his own name he has issued the cassette Ominous Bath and the album Albatross on ipaadi, the label he shares with Ifeoluwa; as SRS with Sunun of Young Echo he makes dub, steppers and noise. He co-founded the Avon Terror Corps label and has recorded for The Trilogy Tapes, KECK, Bokeh Versions and NoCorner.
