Ron Morelli

Ron Morelli is a DJ and producer from Merrick, Long Island, and the founder of L.I.E.S., short for Long Island Electrical Systems. Launched in Brooklyn in 2010, the label became closely linked with the outsider house sound, and its twelve-inches sold out fast once shops such as Hard Wax began to champion them. Its roster has included Delroy Edwards, Terekke, Legowelt, Steve Moore, Gunnar Haslam, Randomer and Tzusing. Morelli moved from Brooklyn to Paris in 2013 and kept releasing his own records, including Spit, A Gathering Together, Disappearer and Extinctionist. He recorded Dekmantel Podcast 079, played back to back with Samo DJ at Dekmantel Festival in 2016, and shared a split record with him on Cav Empt.
