Ron Trent presents LA MARR w/ Pablo Color Live

Distilling the true, spiritual essence of house, Ron Trent is a pioneer of Chicago's late-1980s scene. He rose to international prominence with his 1990 classic Altered States, a hypnotic cut that fused analogue warmth, cosmic atmospheres and a meditative sense of groove. Decades later his influence continues, including a Grammy-nominated remix of Soul II Soul and collaborations with Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Tony Allen and Moodymann. In 2025 he released Lift Off on Rush Hour, a decade-in-the-making album shaped by rich rhythms and finely detailed instrumentation. Mood Programmes: LA MARR Live is his ambient transmission programmed for deep listening, made for Music From Memory and performed live with special guest Pablo Color, and it premiered at Dekmantel Festival.
