S-candalo

S-candalo are siblings Tania and Dominik Humeres-Correa, who also play solo as THC and DHC. Born in Bogotá to Colombian and Chilean parents and raised in Germany, they are now based in Berlin, where they have pushed the city's post-pandemic dancefloors away from minimalism toward maximalist house: big chords, big drums and bigger basslines, with 1990s Latin house and its rolling samba percussion as a touchstone. Tania co-founded the La Noche party, and the pair have become stalwarts of Latin-rooted LGBTQIA+ and FLINTA club culture. Their RA podcast and Fact mix map out that more-is-more approach, and they have played Dekmantel Festival, including a set broadcast with HÖR.
