Safety Trance

Safety Trance is an alias of Luis Garban, also known as Cardopusher, the Venezuelan noise-mangler who has spent twenty years twisting together EBM, acid, hardcore, wave and techno. Under this moniker he has worked alongside Rosalía and Planningtorock on tracks from Arca's KiCk series for XL Recordings, and his Noches de Terror EP on Boysnoize Records explored new possibilities within reggaeton, always with his own textural twist. His sets continue that mission, colliding stiff, angular rhythms with caustic industrial, acid, rave and trap in strobe-lit selections packed with grit and grime. As the tempo climbs, things get ever wilder and noisier until you are completely consumed by the dystopian fuzz.
