Samo DJ

Samo DJ is a Stockholm producer and DJ whose tracks cram a mass of demented ideas into distinctive shapes with a twisted Scandinavian cheek. He is one half of Sling & Samo, with whom he co-founded the Born Free label, and he makes faux-fantasy soundtracks with MaxxxBass as KWC 92. Studio time with Tzusing, Baba Stiltz and Cos/Mes has pushed his sound further. He is responsible for several standout releases on L.I.E.S., and his tweaked edits and remixes have come out on Public Possession, Macadam Mambo and Klasse Wrecks. He played back to back with L.I.E.S. founder Ron Morelli at Dekmantel Festival in 2016, and the two shared a split record on Cav Empt in 2017.
