Serge (Forcefield)

Serge has been a fixture on the Dutch west coast since the early nineties, when he played the Acid Planet parties and held down residencies where long sets were the norm. In 1993 he founded Clone Records in Rotterdam, which grew into a shop, a distributor and a family of labels that has connected Detroit and Chicago to Europe for three decades. As an A&R he has put out hundreds of records; as a DJ he draws on that whole archive, moving from acid to electro to techno with real energy. Forcefield is his live partnership with Afra, a raw and physical project that played the UFO II stage at Dekmantel Festival.
