SHXCXCHCXSH

SHXCXCHCXSH are a Swedish duo who sit somewhere between techno and the avant-garde, known more for sonic finesse than for obvious drama. Their records have come out on Avian, Northern Electronics, Semantica, Subsist, Hem and Mord, and on their own label Rösten, launched with the Rösten 1 and Rösten 2 records. Albums such as Linear S Decoded built their name, and OUFOUFOF, their fourth studio album, followed in 2018 on Rösten after the SHULULULU EP for Avian: eight polyrhythmic studies that turn away from straight 4/4 so that every sound in a track orbits a single rhythmic pattern. After a pause, the DO EP reopened Rösten in 2024. They played live at Dekmantel Festival 2019.
