Siu Mata

French DJ and producer Siu Mata builds club tracks from dembow-driven bass and inventive takes on dancehall, drawing on jungle, bass and ghetto music alongside tribe, trance and percussive textures. In 2018 he founded the Wajang label with his friend and regular collaborator Amor Satyr, and most of his EPs appear there, with further records on Nervous Horizon, Hiedrah Club de Baile, Hardline, Jerry Horny, NAAFI and Nostro Hood System. The two also produce together as Sexapil. His sets are aimed at dancers with energy to burn, moving through fused genres at pace, and he played Dekmantel Ten in 2024 back to back with Amor Satyr.
