Skatebård
Skatebård is Bård Aasen Lødemel, who grew up in Ørsta on the Norwegian west coast and raved alone with a walkman in the forests of the nineties. He moved to Bergen in 2000 and joined its growing club scene. After he handed a demo to Tellé label boss Mikal Telle, the offshoot Tellektro signed him in 2001, and his first release, the vinyl-only album Skateboarding Was a Crime (In 1989), followed in 2002. Five albums and more than thirty 12-inches since then define his retro-futuristic mix of disco, house and techno, with a strong streak of Italo and electro in his DJ sets. He played the Main stage at Dekmantel Festival 2018, a live set with Kjetil Møster in 2019, and Lentekabinet Festival 2022.
