SPFDJ

SPFDJ is a Swedish DJ and producer based in Amsterdam who came up through the grassroots scenes of London and Berlin. In 2018 she joined the resident crew of Herrensauna, the Berlin queer party, and a Boiler Room set at the party that year became widely shared. Soon after she launched the label Intrepid Skin, which has released early records by VTSS, Nene H and Marcus L alongside MarcelDune and Valerie Ace, and her own Heel Thyself EP. She also started the event series Motherlode. First shaped by the harsher shades of techno, her sets now run through Latincore, jacking hardgroove, UK hard house and trance, a blend of hard and soft she calls Tendercore. She recorded Dekmantel Podcast 274.
