Sunju Hargun

Sunju Hargun is based in Thailand and has been bringing new energy to the Asian scene for more than twenty years. His Indian heritage and Japanese roots inform his mystic sound and the music he releases via Siamese Twins Records, the label he co-founded. He transcends musical and cultural borders, bringing everything from warm, percussive tribal grooves to more psychedelic sounds, acid textures and mind-altering techno, and he has played Dekmantel Festival. He approaches mixing naturally and spontaneously, prizing the raw energy of live recordings over home-studio polish. His Dekmantel mix was built from records picked up on trips between Amsterdam and Japan, recorded in one take with friends in his living room, a blend of past, present and future.
