Syracuse

Syracuse was a French duo of Antoine Kogut and Isabelle Maitre whose leftfield pop drifted between synth music, soft rock and slow disco. The French label Antinote released the Giant Mirrors EP in 2012, the Lovventura and Latomia single in 2014 and the mini-album Liquid Silver Dream in 2015. They also contributed to the Tele Music Reinterpretations series, and their track Scubatomic Love with Epsilove appeared on the Dekmantel 10 Years 04 compilation in 2017. The duo played live at Lentekabinet in 2016. Their RA page describes the music as mermaid music from outer space and notes that the band later split up.
