Tako
Tako Reyenga started digging through record shop bargain boxes as a teenager in the early nineties and turned that habit into a career. He is co-owner of Red Light Records, the vinyl shop on the Oudekerksplein inside the former brothel that also housed Red Light Radio, where he held a monthly slot playing fresh finds from the shop. In 2013 he co-founded Music From Memory with Abel Nagengast and Jamie Tiller, the Amsterdam label that reissued out-of-print music by artists such as Roberto Musci. His sets run from disco, soul and funk through Afro and Balearic records to electronics, wave and ambient. He has played back to back with Relmer at Dekmantel Selectors and recorded for Boiler Room.
