Theo Kottis

Theo Kottis is a Scotsman whose Lighthouse EP on Dekmantel encapsulates his style: house, techno and electro fusions with a knowing nod to the 90s and plenty of physical and emotional impact. It was his first work after a self-imposed creative reset, following outings on Permanent Vacation and DGTL that established the Space Dust label and party founder as someone as effective as he is unpretentious, whether making or playing records. His sets are built from tracks that have gone down well with crowds at recent gigs: slick selections across the house, techno and electro spectrum, an impossibly groovy soundtrack with the right balance between head and heel, and something for everyone to dance to.
