Tiago

Tiago Miranda is a Lisbon DJ, producer and musician who has held a residency at Lux Frágil since 1998. He came to DJing through live music, having been turned on to drumming by his older brother, and was part of a musical movement that took shape in Lisbon in the early 2000s, playing in groups including Gala Drop. His own records have appeared on Italians Do It Better, Jolly Jams, Snaker, Public Possession and DFA, and he runs the labels Interzona13 and Outerzona13, home to releases such as Primeira Visão and Kites. His sets are expansive and searching, a blend of leftfield music of every kind. Under the alias Pigxtar he also makes noise music, released through his labels Ruby Red Editora and All Labels Are Bastards.
