Tolouse Low Trax

Tolouse Low Trax is the solo project of Detlef Weinrich, born in Bad Säckingen in 1966, a member of the Düsseldorf band Kreidler and co-founder of the city's Salon des Amateurs, where he was a resident DJ. From 2010 onwards he has released a long run of albums, among them Mask Talk, Corridor Plateau, Jeidem Fall, Leave Me Alone and Kiosque Versions, with records on Karaoke Kalk, Dans le Desert, Offen Music and Idle Press. His records are mostly calm, rhythmic electro, unhurried and hypnotic, and the same patient, off-centre taste runs through his long DJ sets at the Salon. Weinrich is based in Paris, and he played live at Lentekabinet Festival in 2017.
