Typhoon Lady

Typhoon Lady is the Dutch DJ and radio maker Janneke Hulshof, who made shows for Red Light Radio in Amsterdam before moving to Berlin. There she helped build Refuge Worldwide, the charity radio station in Neukölln, and hosted the monthly show According to No Plan on dublab.de, broadcasting favourites old and new from her living room. Her selections favour dreamy folk, ambient and reggae-tinged tunes that drift towards eclectic Balearic endings, a mood heard in her Past Forward mix for Cashmere Radio and her guest hour with 12th Isle co-founder Fergus Clark on NTS. She played Dekmantel Selectors in 2022.
