UR presents Depth Charge featuring Saul Williams

When it comes to the origins of techno, few names carry more weight than Underground Resistance. Formed in 1989 by Mike Banks and Jeff Mills, the Detroit collective, which constantly evolves in membership, has spent nearly four decades defining and redefining techno as a Black, anti-commercial space for radical independence and self-determination. UR's sound has always been gritty, mechanical, stripped-down and uncompromising, but also brimming with heartwarming groove and hypnotic, layered messaging. To this day, UR paves the way for generations of artists in Detroit and around the world. Depth Charge is their live show with the poet and vocalist Saul Williams. Make your transition.
