Vale Budino

Vale Budino is an Italian DJ based in Berlin, where she moved in 2018 and began pouring just about everything she earned into records. Her collection spans Afro, Italo, funk, new wave, disco and soundtracks, and that breadth won her residencies at Discodromo and at CockTail d'Amore, the party of DJ Boris, after she had already founded her own event, Oscillator. She has also worked as music director and project lead at Terminal of Babylon, a performative game and social experiment hosted in Berlin. Her Dekmantel Podcast 336 set the tone for her style: euphoric Italo beside sleazy wave, cosmic minimalism next to disco rap, each track chosen for flavour, energy and a real sense of occasion.
