Wolfers

Danny Wolfers is the man behind Legowelt, the Hague producer whose raw, synth-heavy records have run through electro, Italo, acid, techno, jungle and ambient since the early 1990s. He founded Strange Life Records in 2004 and has worked under more than 30 aliases across Bunker, Clone, Viewlexx, Rush Hour and Dekmantel. His ties to Dekmantel run deep: the label gave his ambient project Occult Orientated Crime its first physical release with Just A Clown On Crack, he took part in the Dekmantel ten-year anniversary series, and he has played the festival's Greenhouse stage alongside Noda. Records under his given name are rare, among them Swan Song Of The Skunkape Original Soundtrack and Unfolding The Future With Amateur Space Jazz.
