Yen Sung

Yen Sung is one of the first women DJs in Portugal and a fixture of Lisbon nightlife for more than three decades. A former member of the Portuguese hip-hop group Da Weasel, she has also worked in radio and music production. She started DJing at Frágil, Manuel Reis's club in Bairro Alto, played its tenth anniversary party in the old Tabaqueira factory in 1992 alongside Zé Pedro Moura and Rui Vargas, and has been a resident at Lux Frágil since it opened in 1998. There she has hosted long-running hip-hop nights as well as house and techno marathons. Her range has carried her to Berghain's Klubnacht and Nation of Gondwana in Germany, and she played Dekmantel Selectors in 2025.
