We are happy to unveil the seventh in our annual series of collaborations with friends and Amsterdam streetwear icons Patta.
This year's collection consists of three apparel pieces and a compilation cassette tape featuring new music from established artists and up-and-comers from or based in The Netherlands. All is set to release on Friday August 6 — digital copies can be pre-ordered exclusively through Dekmantel’s Bandcamp-page.
Included in this year’s collection are a Patta x Dekmantel 2021 Crest Hooded Sweater and T-Shirt, the last one being in two colourways. For the 2021 music instalment, eight purveyors and shapers of the Dutch scene have each whipped up an exclusive contribution. To be found on the limited run cassette tape are De Lichting associate and Kommune founder Nathan Kofi, familiar fixture of Holland’s club-circuit Jasmín, Visible Spectrum head honcho Cinnaman, Rotterdam's hardware hero Alberta Balsam, Garage Noord resident DJ Corridor, Unknown To The Unknown affiliate Naone, fast-rising local from own grounds Mary Lake and allround super-producer Nadia Struiwigh. The tape is dedicated to club basements, dusky summer festival evenings and crowded house parties – in sum, a love note to all that they’ve missed in the past 18 months. Amping up the energy to insurmountable levels, navigating kaleidoscopic twists and turns – take it as a promise of everything that’s to come in 2022.
