Anetha

Anetha's first decade in dance music has largely been on her own terms. She runs the Mama Told Ya label and agency, where she releases her own mix of techno, EBM and trance and platforms emerging artists. She is a resident DJ at Awakenings in Amsterdam, Le Sucre in her native France and Fuse in Brussels. A qualified architect, she takes a less-is-more approach to techno that stays colourful and emotional, an idea embodied in her Rules Are Meant to Be Broken EP with Ryan James Ford. Her sets work through many shades of high-tempo club music: youthful rave sounds, stripped-back warehouse rhythms and firing machine music, with hints of trance, gabber and EBM giving each track its character.
