Antigone

Antigone is the alias of Antonin Jeanson, a key figure in the Paris techno scene who helped bring the sound back into focus in the city. His debut EP Forbidden Works came out on Construct Re-Form, followed by Menace of Species on Concrete Music and The Day the Sky Fell on Indigo Aera. His long residency at Concrete made his name as a DJ, and from 2015 Token became his home label, with records such as Cantor Dust and Ostitano. With François X he made We Move As One on Dement3d, and he remixed Slam's Positive Education for the 25th anniversary of Soma. His style moves between raw, melancholic and melodic, and his sets thread electro, breakbeat and astral techno with close attention to texture.
