Carrot Green

Carrot Green is Carlos Gualda, a producer and DJ from Rio de Janeiro. He first drew attention in 2014 with a remix on the first Brazilian Shakedown compilation and produced the whole of the second volume the year after. His Dança Das Crianças EP came out on The Magic Movement in 2016, and with Selvagem he made Disco Halal Brazil for Moscoman's Disco Halal label, reworking melodies from sixties and seventies Brazil into tropical club tracks. His own productions fold house and nu-disco around samples of Brazilian vocals and percussion. He played the Mareh festival on Boipeba island in 2015 before his first European tour.
