Lena Willikens

Lena Willikens is a delightfully unpredictable selector. An affiliate of the exuberant Cómeme camp and Düsseldorf's renowned Salon des Amateurs, she builds her sets around unceasingly eclectic tastes and an ongoing infatuation with unusual sounds dug up from the more twisted caverns of electronic music. She released a Selectors compilation on Dekmantel Records and recorded a Dekmantel Selectors podcast that took in heavy hitters from Meat Beat Manifesto, Metamorphosis, towLie and Single Cell Orchestra, a mix she made while moving from place to place in Amsterdam, with De School giving her access to its basement to record it.
