Phillip Jondo

Phillip Jondo is a DJ and producer from Cologne who came up through the city's Total Confusion parties and then went looking for the oddball ends of club music. Since 2014 he has hosted regular shows on NTS Radio, and his sets move between grime, footwork, jungle, rap, dancehall, disco and bass-heavy techno, with co-signs from Düsseldorf's Salon des Amateurs. He runs the Spa label with Friday Dunard and DJ Brom. His debut record, the Little Princess EP, came out on Dekmantel: four tracks of expansive atmospheres and rebuilt club tools featuring double bassist Maxwell Sterling and DJ Plead, with a remix by Moa Pillar. He has played Dekmantel Festival alongside DJ Plead and Dekmantel Selectors.
