Polygonia

Polygonia is the alter ego of multidisciplinary artist Lindsey Wang. The Berlin-based producer and DJ blends elements of techno, downtempo and ambient into a sound of her own. Inspired by the natural world and informed by a deep understanding of music theory and instrumentation, her music brims with intricate, organic shapes and mystical atmospheres. Rhythm is treated as something to be sculpted rather than simply programmed, with percussion and texture in constant motion. That sculptural approach carries through from her records to her sets, where atmosphere and momentum are given equal weight.
