Radical Hi-Fi

Radical Hi-Fi is an Amsterdam sound that has carried the legacy of dub, reggae, rub-a-dub and dancehall through the Dutch capital since the early 2000s. The duo pairs General K, who is Lorenzo Milelli of Red Light Radio, with Ketama Man, a booker and MC behind Mo Manager. Through countless radio shows and gigs they have set out to bring reggae, dub and dancehall to the public without discrimination, and to show the influence of reggae on music around the world. Their Selectors Podcast 025 went deep into roots reggae, driven by the spiritual Nyabinghi drumming of Rastafarian tradition. The pair have played Lentekabinet and Dekmantel Selectors several times, carrying a sound system ethos into festival settings.
