rRoxymore

rRoxymore is Hermione Frank, a French DJ and producer based in Berlin since 2012, whose music lives in the murky territory between house and techno. She calls it mercy-less house: shifting synth sequences, worldly percussion and rugged, deconstructed drum machines. Before that she played percussion in a rock band, DJed hip-hop and rare groove and soundtracked art installations. Don't Be Afraid released her Thoughts Of An Introvert EPs and her debut album Face To Phase in 2019, followed by Perpetual Now on Smalltown Supersound and Juggling Dualities on !K7, which spans New Age, Detroit techno, kosmische and dub. Further records came out on Macro, Human Level and Aus Music. She recorded RA.539 and the Dekmantel Podcast 277, and played Dekmantel Selectors in 2016.
