Strange Boutique

Strange Boutique is the Dutch duo of visual artist Nicole Martens and curator Femke Dekker, two kindred spirits bound by a love of art and music. Their project is a musical playground with a fondness for the strange, the weird and the psychedelic, laced with cosmic grooves, and it treats sound and image as parts of one practice, seeking out both the obscure and objects hiding in plain sight. Their monthly special on Red Light Radio, Tuesday Night Prayer Meeting, gathered a steady congregation of listeners willing to follow their eclectic path. The pair recorded the nineteenth instalment of the Dekmantel Selectors Podcast, a snapshot of the digging that defines their sets.
