Than Sadet Sampler EP
Makam
We're rubbing our hands together gleefully for this one: longtime family member Makam will return to DKMNTL Records with a full-length album later this year. Guy Blanken's ongoing search for new sounds, textures and rhythms has lead him to Than Sadet, a stunning piece of work that’s like nothing you've heard from the The Hague based producer before. We have known this ultra-talented chap for years, but it’s fair to say Than Sadet is his most impressive and distinctive work to date. This sampler is a sneak peek into what is about to be an absolute label highlight; a prelude to the new Makam sound. 'Riding High' is a lush, Isolee-esque lengthy house jam, and the blissful ambient ride backed up by tropical birds 'Than Sadet' gives more insight into the new territories Blanken has been digging into. You ain't heard nothin' yet.
