Parrish Smith

Parrish Smith has been a core member of the Dekmantel family for years. A much-loved regular at the festivals, he releases on Dekmantel UFO as well as L.I.E.S., and he recorded the 300th Dekmantel podcast. His famously full-throttle body music has a distinctive analogue edge, whether raw and industrial or acid-laced and raved up. Is he Holland's most punk DJ? Quite possibly, because his ability to bring sonic terror to any dance floor is second to none, whatever tools he uses. His sets carry the same bristling, unrelenting energy and disregard for genre: distorted techno drums and caustic synths, brightly lit strobes and death metal vocals, high-octane and confrontational, kept under control by a DJ who has long since mastered the darkness. Not for the faint of heart.
