The only plan when we started our podcast series was to showcase great music from great people. Looking back over a decade of transmissions, we think we've managed that while balancing a healthy respect for the pioneers and keeping an eager ear on the next generation.
We've had sets from Aadvarck, the first man to ever play a Dekmantel party, exclusives from cult heroes Autechre, live sets from various editions of our festival, deep techno from Japan, dreamy house from the US, bass-heavy rhythms from Brazil and fresh garage from the UK, as well as plenty of experimental in-between sounds right from the cutting edge.

But we're not done yet: our celebration of artists who define and defy the dance floor continues with an epic new set from Job Jobse, who becomes the first artist to feature twice in the series. The long-time Amsterdam favourite is a party-starting master who skips through house, techno, disco and Italo. He debuted with us at Lentekabinet in 2013, then at Dekmantel Festival in 2017, and has been providing a link between our home city and the global scene ever since. In the spring of 2026, he's making a return to Lentekabinet. And in summer we can find him in Tisno at Selectors, where he will play a special back-three-back with UK friends Shanti Celeste and Peach.
For this mix, he has taken inspiration from nature and contrasted that with humans and our increasing reliance on technology.
"This is the most personal mix I’ve ever made. It’s long, deep, emotional and contains some of my favourite music from the last 15 years of digging and DJing. It’s best enjoyed during psychedelic forest walks, trippy after-hours or staring out of the window during long train rides and road trips while the sun sets." - Job Jobse
Across four and a half hours, Job traverses a full spectrum of sound from lush melodics and dreamy house to dubby electro and new age techno. It captures the journey of human civilisation from wandering across wide open landscapes to more machine-driven rhythms and then onto cosmic exploration. Importantly, during such turbulent times, the mix has a constant sense of uplift and emotional transcendence that leaves you feeling hopeful for the future.
