This was Lentekabinet 2025
Springtime sounds and exploration.

The 13th edition of our springtime escape unfurled across the green fields of Het Twiske and leaned fully into exploration and connection.

The festival’s creative scope grew with a brand-new live stage, Aster, debuting on Sunday, while Poppy was lovingly hosted by Strangelove aka Job Jobse and added another distinct chapter to the site’s ever-shifting landscape. Across two days, DJ culture, live performance, art and nature all collided to kick off the festival season and here are our favourite memories.

Words by Kristan J Caryl

Masalo at Lotus

The integral Amsterdam artist delivered a fluid, groove-rich live set that married warmth and rhythm into a sunny season that gently worked the crowd into a frenzy.

The Band Contest at Skatecafe

A buzzing Band Contest at Skatecafe crowned Michael Ekow & May and M.Lucky as winners and earned them coveted slots on the new Aster stage.

Angel D’lite at Poppy

Rave-ready stylings brought Poppy to a euphoric close, soaked in hyper-real rhythms, glowing in UV light and full of hedonism.

Marie Davidson at The Swamp

Dystopian pop and club-ready electronic power met as Marie played music from her recent City of Clowns album live.

Jyoty & Cinnaman at The Swamp

Local legends always do it better, and that was the case when Jyoty and Cinnaman lit up the spot with an uptempo fusion of big grooves and bigger feels.

Ben UFO at The Swamp

BUFO's precision selections and deep intuition locked everyone into a signature, spellbinding flow full of new and old thrillers.

Roza Terenzi & S-candalo at Poppy

One of many standout back-to-backs that saw this pair shut down Poppy on Saturday with a wild, seat-of-the-pants ride through high-voltage sound.

Zep at Aster

Multi-instrumentalist Zep caused a full-blown frenzy at Aster, bending live musicianship, hip-hop, electronica, pop and plenty of impromptu percussion into ecstatic chaos.

Ploegendienst & Sophie Straat at Aster

Local powerhouse Ploegendienst joined forces with Sophie Straat for an electrifying mash-up of punk and electronics that turned the 'floor into a mosh pit.

Rozaly at Kanaal40

Rozaly left the stage buzzing and wanting more after an adventurous set full of Caribbean drum patterns drawn from dembow, reggaeton and bass, always with perfectly timed emotional release.

Mina & Bryte at Kanaal40

Mina & Bryte’s live performance brought undeniable Latin heat to Kanaal40 with a tasteful exploration of reggaeton, amapiano, batida and plenty in between.
